We are pleased to announce, here at Wrona's House Of Violins, our fretted instruments department is overseen by Glen Miller. Glen has many years of experience in instrument repair, building, finishing, customizing and replicas. Glen also has experience in guitar manufacturing from the raw wood to a finished product that anyone would be proud to call their own.


This guitar began as a 1969 Gibson Special Special. The original SG body had been destroyed, so we salvaged the neck. The body, as seen above, was cut from vintage mahogany, to exact specs of a 1958 Les Paul Special. We have been fortunate to have obtained a supply of old stock Kalamazoo made Gibson parts, from a former Gibson employee, some of which are shown below.

Because of our unprecidented access to authentic vintage Gibson parts, we are now offering custom made recreations of vintage Gibson style guitars. We can re-create these vintage models. 1955 through 1961 Les Paul Specials and Juniors. We can also offer very accurate Explorers, Flying V’s, and Moderne’s with the very rare split V headstock.
